Bryan Carter is the Senior Pastor of Concord Church in Dallas, TX. The focus of their church is “We Grow People.” Their mission is: People growing people by connecting them to their next step with Christ. He has served as senior pastor for twelve years and they currently serve over 9000 members. Building on a great foundation, the church has continued to flourish in reaching people, helping people to grow in their spiritual lives, and engaging in mission work in their local community and abroad.
He is committed to serving the city of Dallas and is currently serving on the boards of Impact Dallas Capital and Dallas ISD Education Foundation. He leads Harmony Community Development Corporation, an organization committed to improving the community of southern Dallas through building stronger families and economic development. He also leads the African American Pastors Coalition, a fellowship of over sixty churches committed to serving and addressing key needs in the Dallas community. His past board service includes: Mayor’s Taskforce Against Domestic Violence, Dallas Habitat for Humanity, and Mentoring Brother to Brother. Finally, he serves on the advisory team of Greater Dallas Movement Day, a gospel centered city transformation movement that brings together non-profits and churches to work together collaboratively. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Preaching, teaching, and leadership are his life passions. Carter hosts the E. K. Bailey expository preaching conference annually. This conference is one of the premier conferences in the country for training preachers on effective biblical preaching. He has shared at numerous conferences, workshops, leadership events and worship services throughout the country. Internationally, he has shared in South Africa, Jamaica, Haiti and Kenya.
Carter possesses a unique ability to connect with men and leads a weekly mens’ bible study that serves over 300 men. He serves as a co-presenter for “33: The Series” a curriculum on authentic manhood published by Lifeway and a contributor to the “The Art of Marriage” curriculum published by Family Life Ministries.
Bryan Carter is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a specialty in Science and Math and is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education with a specialty in Family Ministry. He also is a recipient of an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Dallas Baptist University. Bryan Carter is married to his college sweetheart, Stephanie Sadberry-Carter and has two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kennedy, and one son, Carson.

Stephanie Carter is the leader of the “31” Women’s Ministry of Concord Church. She receives great joy by serving and ministering to the women of our church and community. She leads a weekly bible study for women called, “WOW” that has grown from 400 women to 1000 women. She passionately leads the women of our church with a focus on creativity, service, relevance and biblical teaching. Her mission in life is to equip and inspire women to reach their full potential in Christ. She also has a heart for ministering to women married to pastors. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She served as a teacher and instructional specialist in Fort Worth ISD for six years. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She and her husband, Pastor Bryan Carter are the proud parents of two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kennedy and a son, Carson.
